This would not be very effective with full doors off because of the wind that it lets in but it works pretty well with half doors on. The full metal doors would probably be the better choice for me the metal doors offer more security and convenience. I occasionally go to drive throughs not a lot but i like the look of the half doors better on the wrangler. However whether it is just because of old age or through storage or an accident doors can sometimes get damaged beyond repair when off the vehicle.
