If you hear thumping in your attic at night it s most likely a larger animal such as a raccoon or opossum engaged in jumping from one area of the attic to another actively shoving or destroying something or dragging something heavy.

If you hear scratching or knocking sounds in your walls or attic then this is a pretty good indication that it will be a wild animal in your home.
Just get a flashlight and investigate.

And that would be all well and good but we don t have an attic.
Throw a garlic bulb in the attic to keep pests out.
